We operate in the market town of Oswestry, Shropshire, on the border of Wales. Our 30 year old

business is situated in an attractive 18th Century listed building. Ten years prior to the opening of

our shop we ran the business from a Christian bookstall in the local market, and at agricultural

show. The move to the present building was due to the vision of the members of the local

evangelical church, to make available on a daily basis access to bibles, books and Christian

resources.

The vision has grown and seen expansion into many areas, for example working with churches

of all denominations, educational establishments, and the general public.

Under the umbrella of our charity we have seen the establishment of the Kingswell Community

Centre,  a family and youth project. We also offer office space within our building to the Churches

together in Oswestry Schools Worker.

Opportunity to browse and order literature is helped by the serving of refreshments within the

retail area of the shop. Our ground floor showroom has a wide variety of books, gifts and

resources. The first floor showroom has wide selection of children’s books and gifts. Also

incorporated is a comprehensive display of over 1000 second hand Christian books.
